Must Have of the Week: Vogue: The Annual Age Issue

Every year around this time, Vogue puts out its Annual Age Issue. They highlight phenominal women ranging from their 20's to their 80's. This year, Alexa Chung:26 (the VJ-turned fashion designer), Gwyneth Paltrow:37 (explorer of the kitchen), Christina Norman:46 (CEO of the Oprah Winfrey Network, Pattie Hensen: 54, (Defeater of blatter cancer), Miyuki Hatoyama: 67 (First Lady, to Prime Minister in Japan), and Lady Antonia Fraser: 78 (Life after losing her husband), all share their stories of transformations. "These women teach us about lessons learned and life lived, decade after decade."

Gwyneth Paltrow, takes the lead cover story looking younger than she's ever did. After wedding and becoming the mother of two, she finds herself in London writing a cook book inspired by her late father, 'My Father's Daughter'. In this issue we see a side of Paltrow that she had yet to reveal in her earlier days; A cook. She finds happiness in preparing meals for her family, reminicing on her earlier years spending time with her father in the kitchen. Her book is due out in April 2011. In the mean time, pick up this year's August issue of Vogue, at a newsstand near you.
